Meet Thomas Enoch, co-founder
"I HELP MY CLIENTS DEVELOP AN INCOME PLAN TO LIVE COMFORTABLY DURING RETIREMENT AND FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT THE ROAD AHEAD."
Thomas Enoch is managing partner of Enoch & Associates, LLC, a full-service financial planning firm located in Franklin. A lifelong Tennessean, he attended the University of Tennessee, where he studied business. Enoch, who goes by his nickname Tommy, has nearly three decades of experience in the financial arena. He holds insurance licenses in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.
Since his start in the industry in 1983, Tommy has specialized in helping clients prepare for retirement. In fact, a majority of his clients have been 55 years old and above. Tommy's expertise makes him especially qualified to answer questions regarding social security, long term care, and Medicare advantage, while exploring conservative retirement income strategies that protect his clients’ principal. Using a conservative approach to planning, Tommy finds sensible strategies to provide his clients with sustainable financial stability: Developing a retirement income plan is only a part of the process, Tommy explains. “People’s situations change over time. It’s important for me to make sure their plan evolves with these changes,” he says. "I continually monitor plans we put in place for clients and make it a point to meet with them periodically to discuss the progress of their plans.” According to Tommy, education plays a large role in his ability to evaluate and manage his clients’ financial progress. "The industry is always changing,” he says. "I work hard to make sure I’m knowledgeable on all of the products I offer, and how they will perform in my clients' individual circumstances." Tommy is married to his college sweetheart, Nancy. They enjoy playing golf and taking family trips to the Florida gulf with their two children, Thomas and Katie. |
Meet Scott Oldham, co-founder
"IT WOULD BE MY PLEASURE TO MEET YOU AND SEE HOW I MIGHT SERVE YOU."
Scott grew up in Gallatin—he’s a lifelong resident of Middle Tennessee—and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1979 and from Volunteer State College in 1982 with a degree in Business. He spent the late ’80s and ’90s living in Nashville.
At that time, he worked at the corporate office of Murray Lawnmowers & Bicycles. He started in the Service Department, in Customer Service, and worked his way up into various account and territory management positions. Later, having learned a great deal about how to help people from a customer-service standpoint, he moved back to Gallatin. Scott opened Oldham Insurance in 2008. He had a childhood dream of one day owning his own business, and his firm is the culmination of that dream. He didn’t know as a child that his business would be an insurance agency, but he’s so happy it is—he loves meeting and helping people with their insurance. Scott holds insurance licenses in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas. He also loves the freedom of being self-employed. Providence Retirement Strategies represents the next step on that journey for him. In 2002, Scott married a Gallatin girl, Stacy Jesse, and shortly afterward, they had two kids, Bradley, and Jordan. They attend school and Stacy works in Gallatin. They attend Freedom Church and are very active there. Scott’s passion outside of family and church is coaching youth basketball—he has coached for 15 years and has also been involved in league leadership. |
